In 1996, Kathleen Roberts began her writing career by reporting on new business openings in Northwest Arkansas, where she lived at the time. After the birth of her fourth child, Kathleen took a break from writing in order to focus more fully on raising and homeschooling her children.When it became necessary for Kathleen to return to work, she opted for a job in retail that eventually turned into a management position. This opportunity allowed her to learn many important aspects of sales and marketing. A few years later she took an interest in creating web sites. This led to Kathleen taking a course in HTML.
In 2004, Kathleen decided she wanted to work from home. After several false starts, she finally ventured into the field of writing content for the Web. She took advantage of every opportunity to learn about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), marketing and creating effective web copy. Finally, Cornerstone Web Services was created by Kathleen Roberts so she could use her talents to help others successfully grow their businesses, too.
Today, Kathleen is mother to five beautiful children. In addition to running Cornerstone Web Services, she is a Group Editor for LoveToKnow.com and also a product reviewer for PetStyle.com.
